From Forks to Flight Tickets and everything in Between:

Hi Y'all Im Tara and welcome to my cozy corner of the internet where I get to express myself through travel, food, and everything in between. My love for food started in my parents kitchen when I was a little girl and it has grown exponentially over the years. As I get older, the more interested I became not only in the food but the culture behind it. I want to know everything there is to know about the people behind the meals.

I'm a perpetually curious soul with a love for storytelling, a passion for capturing mouthwatering moments with my camera, and an unquenchable thirst for new experiences. I'm the type of person who plans trips around meals and seeks out street food stalls with as much enthusiasm as I do renowned restaurants.

The wanderlust for travel started with my first trip around the globe. I landed in Thailand. This is it, this is the seed that was planted and grew into an obsession for travel. Young and eyes wide ready for adventure I left the Bangkok airport ready to start my journey. I was consumed by the sites, smells, and everything in between. I wanted to know everything and anything about this place that is so different from home. I ate my way through the bustling city of Bangkok all while traveling by their three wheeled tuk-tuk that have no doors and certainly no seatbelts. I was in awe of this place. Not only because of the food but the people. The people were whimsically happy, ready to welcome travelers to their unique home that they cherish with the deepest of admiration.

I ate anything I could get my hands on. I stopped at every street food vendor and watched with amazement. They whipped up some of the most delicious street food. The stir fry was the best I have every had. They were so kind and happy to share their food with non locals and took us in as if we were family members sitting down for a family dinner.

This is just a small glance at trip that forever changed the way I thought about life and everything life has to offer. I want to invite you all on this journey. So go forth, dear adventurers, and embrace each moment with the joy of a child discovering their first candy store.
